Resimend Ltd offers the service of ‘Power Flushing’ your heating and water systems. Aimed at both the domestic and commercial sector, Power Flushing is a process designed to help cure the circulation and boiler noise problems caused by accumulations of sludge, corrosion deposits and scale which are found in most ageing central heating systems.
Power Flushing is the fastest and most effective way to flush heating systems and involves minimal disruption and dismantling. Our trained engineers use the tried and tested www.Kamco.co.uk equipment, the CF90 unit is used in conjunction with the ‘CombiMag Filter’ and ‘Kamco Chemicals*’ ensuring a professional result every time.

When is it time to have my system Power Flushed?
There are several reasons to have a Power Flush performed, the following are just a few of the most common reasons:
- Cold or warm radiators. Radiators that are ‘sludged up’ may suffer cold spots caused by lack of circulation, this will also prevent the radiator achieving its optimal temperature. Another symptom of a cold radiator is that the pipework supplying the feed is blocked with limescale.
- Noisy Pump. The pump will eventually choke up with corrosion debris causing it not to run efficiently.
- Pin hole leaks or rusty radiators. If a radiator is leaking from a pin hole or has signs of rust, there is a possibility that corrosion is coming through from the inside.
- Long recovery time after drawing hot water. If the hot water is taking time to heat up, it is likely that the cylinder is restricted by limescale or on other systems the heat exchanger is blocked or restricted by corrosion debris.
- Installation of new boiler. The core component of a heating system is the boiler. When a boiler is renewed, the boiler manufaturers' Benchmark schemes requires that the system be thoroughly cleansed to the BS7593:2006 Code of Practice. Currently, best industry practice is considered to be to Power Flush the system
