Problem

Erosion of the stone caused by the weather, particularly to the window reveals and ornate mouldings.

Remedy

Loose re-usable pieces of stone were removed and resin bonded back into their original position. Areas where the stone had eroded or was missing were prepared and repaired with a light weight resin stone repair putty coloured to match the colour of the parent stone. This operation caused little or no disruption to the day to day running of this Stately Home.
