Problem

During refurbishment of a period office building in London areas of missing decorative cornice was discovered that had to be replaced.

Remedy

The area of the missing cornice was prepared, a stainless steel cage is resin bonded to the existing stone. Shuttering to match the existing mould is fixed into position and a cementitios grout is poured into the mould. The shuttering is removed after full cure and ready to receive decoration.
