15th century farmhouse....

Problem

Over many years the decayed timber had been repaired with mortar, concrete, tiles etc
These repairs were inadequate and unsightly and not structurally effective and left the timber to suffer further decay.

Remedy

Remove the decayed areas of timber, shutter up the affected areas and fill the voids with structural resin. A moulding mortar is applied to the structural resin and is shaped and grained to match the parent timber a coloured resin based stain is applied to the repair prior to final treatment of the timber.
